Slashing & Reward Protection

To preserve fairness and long-term alignment, Sync Score introduces a slashing mechanism that discourages short-term behaviors and rewards long-term commitment. Early Exit = Penalty

If you withdraw your stake too early, you’ll incur a slashing penalty, and a portion of your staked tokens will be deducted.

The penalty decays over time, protecting the ecosystem from short-term farming strategies, starting at 25% on day 1 to finish a 0%on day 11.

This progressive curve ensures that staying staked longer unlocks your full rewards, while also redistributing slashed tokens back to loyal stakers.

Nota: Claiming staking rewards is always safe and penalty-free. Only withdrawing your stake early incurs a slashing.
